Congrats to us we celebrated our 1st year Anniversary on Sunday!! We didn't do anything super special we went on our honeymoon/1st year anniversary trip to the Dominican Republic the week before. We did go out to dinner to our favorite restaurant and enjoyed some quality snuggle time watching Planet Earth on the Discovery channel. It was a great day.

Let's remember that long ago special day...

This past weekend Kim had the fabulous idea of inviting Liza and I to see the hot air balloon illunaries that happens at the hot are balloon show in Battle Creek. The illuminaries is where they light up all the hot air balloons on the ground at night. If you have questions please consult Kim I have never been before. So before we left we heard that it was too windy for the balloons to launch but the light show was still on. We headed there and walked around the show. Kim and Liza decided to ride the Pirate ship, the carnie thought they were cute and gave them there tickets back. They decided it was more scary then they rememeber. I was too chicken to go.

We of course had to introudce Liza to fair food, so we got a funnel cake and an elephant ear with chocolate, if you are wondering the funnel cake won hands down. We sat down to eat our treats and the crazy annoucer over the live band said that the lighting was cancled! Oh well we had a fun time, better luck next year!!!

I know it is a little late, but I wanted to share anyway the birthday party I threw for my Grandma and Jonathan. They share May birhtday's so we did a joint affair. The Maltburgs and the Hunts came to celebrate a day early. We hang out and enjoyed the new deck. Of course I only have one picture because we were too busy having fun! So much fun that Natalie decided to take a nap......

So the next day my family and Jon's family came down to our house to celebrate. We grilled out and played Michigan State corn hole and enjoyed the wonderful weather. I think everyone had a great time and hopefully we can have another party soon. Oh and I will post the pictures soon...they are all on Jon's camera...sorry everyone.....

I am so sorry I haven't posted in a long time. We haven't been super busy...I've just been lazy. So here is an update of the past 2 months......

My wonderful fabulous, incredible husband with the help of the fam of course built a beautiful deck these past two weeks. I love it and I can't wait to spend every sunny summer day sitting on it! Thank you everyone for your help!!

I also have the beginnings of a flower garden, Kristin helped me pick out plants and plant them in my flowerbeds. Of course it frosted the night we did it, but the plants are holding on. Hopefully they will grow beautiful...I really want a flower garden.
